When Martina Mcbride was asked why female artists year after year were being snubbed from the Entertainer of the Year award she simply responded- not enough effort is put into our live shows.
So Martina is pulling an Emeril and is kicking it up another notch especially on her new "Waking up Laughing" tour
"This is the first time we've really put some money and some thought into real production. We have a beautiful show to look at and a lot of production values that are comparable to a lot of acts that are headlining on the road. (This) is a huge step for us in deciding to really up that."
Do you think that is why female artists aren't winning Entertainer of the Year?

She doesn't have any hard drinking songs. She has too many "Concrete Angel" and "Anyway" cheesy type songs. You can't down a shot of whiskey to "Happy Girl." C'mon Martina, I know you are a redneck woman inside!
